Education Organizing

Hello friends and allies,
With deep budget cuts and the start date of the Philadelphia public schools in question organizing activity is ramping up. We at the Q wanted to quickly spread the word that while we may be small, Spiral Q is deeply committed to our part in ensuring that all of our young people get a great education. To that end we are eager and able to support you and your community’s efforts to do the same!
So here’s what we are up to and how we can help:
1. Supporting your direct organizing – Making our assets available to you and yours! Puppets, flags, megaphones, and drums. Or we can help supply you with materials to make your own signs and banners  – cardboard, paint, fabric, paintbrushes and more.
Email if you’re looking for this kind of support.
2. Spread the word – Look to Spiral Q’s Facebook and Twitter feeds where we’ll post and re-post info related to these efforts. You can send us the info or you can post it the Q’s timeline to spread word about your efforts.
3. Continue our work in and out of school! – Spiral Q is committed to continuing to bring its award winning education programs to our schools and in our afterschool partnerships. However we must fund this effort and your support is essential to that work. If you’d like to contribute to making that a go, consider donating at the link below.
Coming soon: A report on all the great work from last year and announcements about upcoming programming.
Save the date! – November 3rd Peoplehood Parade.
