Get Ready for the 12th Annual Peoplehood Parade and Festival!

Join us for the 12th Annual Peoplehood Parade and Festival, presented by Spiral Q Puppet Theater with The Paul Robeson House, the Community Education Center, and the Rotunda. Peoplehood is a celebration of our communities’ creativity, joy, can-do attitudes, and courage to act on their convictins.

Peoplehood will look a little different this year! As everyone is working with more limited resources, we are proud to present a Peoplehood that represents the collective effort of multiple community groups. The parade will be the same as it has been, stepping off from the Robeson House at 1PM and ending in Clark Park. The pageant will be a mashup of moments from Peoplehoods past, so expect to see some old favorites! New to Peoplehood is the Festival, where we are pooling our resources with long standing partners to bring you performances curated by the CEC and the Rotunda, renewable resource stations with art-making, skills-sharing, a resource collection tent, and much much more. Stay tuned for more information!
